ORLANDO | Tears of love and joy streamed down teens’ faces from across the Diocese of Orlando as they encountered Christ at the Steubenville Youth Conference July 12- 14, 2024.

Teens from Mississippi, Louisiana, North Carolina, Texas and the Cayman Islands joined the Florida Regional Conference at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort. Approximately 1,800 students and chaperones knelt before the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist over the course of the enlightening weekend. Adoration sparked a desire among some students to participate in the celebration of daily Mass more frequently to deepen their relationship with God.

Well-known Catholic speakers and musicians like Chris Stefanick, Mari Pablo and Sarah Kroger Quaglia challenged each person to reflect on who Jesus is to them. This year’s theme, Illuminate, touched the hearts of the teens as they heard how Christ’s light shines in the darkness they experience.
