We are women belonging to a religious order who take vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience. These solemn vows are taken after a period temporary, simple vows and having been in formation for a number of years. Women are called to their vocation in religious life in answer to our baptismal call to discipleship. Each religious order has a particular charism, or religious purpose, that defines the community and it’s members. There are a variety of religious orders in the Diocese of Orlando with sisters involved in diverse ministries and offices, such as faith formation, pastoral care, farmworkers, religious education, Tribunal, visiting the sick and homebound, bereavement, and immigration assistance.
