Reconciliation Room Opens

Reconciliation Room Opens in S220B

The reconciling love of God is made available to His people through Baptism, the holy sacrifice of the Mass and the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Through genuine contrition, confession, penance, and absolution, the believer is led to true conversion – a change of heart. St. Augustine reminds us that the church “possesses both water and tears: the water of baptism, the tears of penance.”

During the Festival of Faith, there will be many opportunities for believers to become reconciled with God through the Sacrament of Reconciliation. A space has been designated for this purpose and priests will be available on Friday, May 9th between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. and on Saturday, May 10th between 10:00 a.m. and 4: 00 p.m.

Let us approach God with genuine tears of penance, that we may be renewed and restored to grace.
