Children’s Faith and Fun Zone

Children ages 3 – 10 will also find fun and faith-enriching activities at the Festival of Faith. The Children’s area will feature live performances by the singing Lemire family. Michelle and Bob Lemire and their five children ages 5 – 17 have produced a CD titled, Children of Faith. Their performance includes Bible stories, songs and puppets in a delightful interactive show for the entire family. The children can also participate in religious coloring crafts and face painting.

Also, the following films will be shown in the children’s area:

Move! Celebrate! Pray! Music & Movement for Religious Education
This excellent film contains 18 songs and covers a variety of themes such as Gathering, God's Love, Christmas, Easter, Mary, the Sacraments, Justice and many others. The DVD clearly demonstrates the accompanying movements to all 18 songs.

Vinny’s New Day
This movie teaches about children of other lands, baptism and what it means to belong to the family of God. It gives children the chance to learn about Catholic missionaries, our calling to love like Jesus and vivid examples of how to love like Jesus. This film was produced by the Columban Missionaries.
